I dl anitX base 8.5, verified md5sum, burned cd, verified md5sum, and installed
Ran ceni to get wireless up and working,
ran the metainstaller and installed kde full, completed with only one issue about gwenview.
chose to use slim instead of kdm?
rebooted and could never get wireless to work!
Anyone run into this?
cheers,

No. But in my base install I used XFCE 4.6 instead and went with GDM instead of slim and I had to install Wicd because Ceni would run at 100% CPU on my Netbook OHH till it settled down and only would connect via land line. I installed Wicd in my base install to get a viable wireless connection going in base for my Netbook. Ceni and my Netbook did not get along.

But it was with incomplete shutdowns and compositing. Ceni worked fine, then again I installed KDE-Lite vs KDE-full. Maybe a conflict with knetworkmanager?

nats007,
Your probably correct, a conflict that I never resolved, finally nuked the install and went back to fluxbox, home at last!! Really was just a test run and after too many issues I just gave up.
