Same here with antix14RD.
In time I'm not on this machine ,saw it yesterday.

Code: Select all

Paketlisten werden gelesen... Fertig
Abhängigkeitsbaum wird aufgebaut.
Statusinformationen werden eingelesen.... Fertig
Probieren Sie »apt-get -f install«, um dies zu korrigieren.
Die folgenden Pakete haben unerfüllte Abhängigkeiten:
user-management-antix : Hängt ab von: exit-antiX ist aber nicht installierbar
E: Unerfüllte Abhängigkeiten. Versuchen Sie, -f zu benutzen.

The only thing I can see is apt is looking for exit-antiX,
instead of exit-antix.

If you find a solution , please write.

thank you @caprea __{{emoticon}}__
for the message.

Also here is the problem:

Code: Select all

$ inxi -S
System:    Host: x40RD Kernel: 4.3.0-antix.2-486-smp i686 (32 bit) Desktop: Fluxbox 1.3.5
           Distro: antiX-14-a3-RD_386-full Killah P 11 October 2014
The deep silence here in the forest I values that may have to do with systemd-free.

I still have an old antiX13 installation.
The computer was already almost a year not turned on ... __{{emoticon}}__

My system,

Code: Select all

$ inxi -S
System:    Host: antix1 Kernel: 4.1.0-2-amd64 x86_64 (64 bit)
           Desktop: IceWM 1.3.8+githubmod+20150914+fa3fdef
           Distro: antiX-14-a3-RD_x64-full Killah P 11 October 2014
Well, I dont think this is related to any systemd or not systemd stuff.
On my system apt was updated the day before and two packages have been newly installed:

Code: Select all

Install: libapt-inst2.0:amd64 (1.1.3, automatic), libapt-pkg5.0:amd64 (1.1.3, automatic)
They seem to be the reason for me.But why its only happening in antiX14 will stay mystery for me.

It might be simply because it was an alpha release.

@caprea

not repairable

a real pity, this antiX14RD with systemd was running absolutely fine, also on this
TP x40, which I finally chose, as antiX15 could not be installed. As you can see, I
had the latest Kernel 4.3 installed and I was under the impression, better, as all the
others (also the"towo-Kernel" in relation to x86_64 on another system).

I cannot understand this split behaviour in the Linux community because of systemd.
If you want to, you can listen to the 50 min german interview with Lennart Poettering:

Debian has chosen systemd and I still believe, that the decision to use"nosystem" is a dead end.
At some point the one does not have enough power to build agains systemd any longer.

In this sence, it was a good time, arrivederci, auf wiedersehen, au revoir, bye, bye-bye, cheerio, good-by, antiX.

AntiX14RD with systemd was really good....loved it.
For me I don't believe that systemd is coming from hell, but I don't think its coming from heaven neither.

What i dont like about systemd is that you dont have the choice.

So fundamentally I think its a good way of antix to say here it is :nosystemd
Also I believe that the antix-people and others have the power to do so.

What I dont like about antix now is that you dont have the choice.

caprea, I don't understand why you believe"now you do not have a choice".
If systemd installation interferes with, breaks, anything previously installed in antix... you would blame antix?

You'll do well to install systemd-flavored MX linux rather than wrestling with"d-shaped peg(s) do not fit in round holes".

Round pegs WILL fit in round holes if you beat the heck out of them with a 5 lb sledgehammer. __{{emoticon}}__
