Are antiX specific updates issued between major releases of the distro? If so how to to get them and apply them? /etc/apt/sources.list does not seem to indicate anything for antiX only rather than Debian/Mepis repos etc, or have I missed it somewhere?

antix does not currently have a repository. the only updgrades between major releases are the debian/mepis ones.

anti does occasionally release a .5 release, and these typically have any new antix scripts or tools included with them. often a particular script developer will post a script on the forums for people to test as well.

Dave has a server with a repository for AntiX.

Code: Select all

#####Daves repository######
# deb http://daveserver.homelinux.com/antix-repo wheezy main contrib non-free

But I used it a while back when it was working to install antixcc in AntiX 11 core i686 (what I am posting from now). I get 404 errors lately with that address. I think Dave updated the link somewhere here on the forum. I just figured since I had what I wanted. I'd just comment it out for now.

Hmm.just found

Code: Select all

deb http://daveserver.dyndns-web.com/antix-repo wheezy main contrib non-free
Maybe I should insert that one instead.

Code: Select all

I upgraded my server and internet connection recently, I need to find some time to get it back up and working.
Currently it may work with the address being
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://www.daveserver.info"
linktext was:"http://www.daveserver.info"
====================================
, but I would like to package all the utilities separately. This requires alot of work, so they are group packaged.
