This should be the last beta before final.

Changes:

*Fluxbox upgraded to stable 1.0.0.
*Apps upgraded as to 12 October.
*Streamtuner, Pidgin, ffmpeg, mencoder, lighttpd added.
*New fluxbox style.
*New gtk2 style.
*Livecd boot with 64MB RAM + 128 Swap should be ok. (Minimum RAM for livecd 48MB)
*k5/k6 still not supported. (I'm working on it)

Added: xdelta patch file rc1-rc2 available too.

gigasize works poorly for free downloaders. Will it be very long before rc2 is available on the ftp mirrors? I notice that it was about a week delay from gigasize availability to mirrors for rc1, Sep 20-27

I'm not able to use the patch.delta.

Haven't played with it much but, at first glance, RC2 looks pretty good! Thanks.

Welcome to antiX Mike. I hope it will be available sooner than a week, but I have to wait for MEPIS to put it up on their mirrors.

I'm searching for a way to put it on any mirror, but have no idea of the procedure to do this.

Hey moron, bet you were the first in the queue to download it __{{emoticon}}__

Enjoy it, and post feedback, particularly with trying on low RAM like you did before.

Dumb question and I think I already know the answer, but by upgrading RC-1 with"apt-get" we're at RC-2, right? [I don't want to have to reload these NDISWrapper wifi drivers after a new install.]

Not quite dieselbenz as I have added some extra apps in antiX-rc2 and the fluxbox in rc2 is the new stable 1.0.0 version, which you can get for rc1 by adding the unstable repos.

If you do an apt-get update
apt-get upgrade or
apt-get dist-upgrade

you will get 99% of antiX-rc2.
