Thanks Anti! I downloaded / installed rc1 today. The install came off without a hitch and took less than 12 minutes (kept home partition from beta2). Installing my wireless card via ndiswrapper took another five minutes. All in all, AntiX_M7_rc1 installed and had me up and running online in less than twenty minutes. Good deal! Looks great so far........thanks again.

Update (21SEPT07)
I installed Opera 9.23 deb (from Opera.com) and also configured tzdata (dpkg-reconfigure tzdata) for my timezone, and grabbed a couple more packages from Synaptic. Everything is running well: no problems, no crashes, no freezes, no unwanted surprises. Outstanding!

So far so good over here. My 6 yo thinks the new wallpaper"spooky cool".

Good here as well! Installed on a P3 1G with 186MB of Ram. Installed in about 14 minutes. I've been playing and tweaking.

Only one small item I've noticed. The Fluxbox hot key for terminal does not work. Noticed it has a bad path....used the aterm path instead of new wterm. Easy to fix but thought I would mention it.

Fixed for the next rc2 release.

lydia- 'spooky-cool' for the antiX-M7-rc1 desktop wallpaper is a great description. 6 year-olds have so much imagination (before us teachers have to drum it out of them).
I think I will call the wallpaper spooky-cool. Say thanks to the little 'un.
