Hello.
Newbie on AntiX.
Experienced with gnome, kde, xfce. Needed something lighter for my Notebook (NB), albeit challenging to configure 'a la windous'; that's fluxbox!
The problem is:
- (ricgth_click) -> Fluxbox -> Wallpapers. Nothing happens.
- Neither Control_Centre -> Desktop -> Wallpaper/Background (language is spanish, pardon for my gross translating).
Fluxbox config, menu: says [exec] (Wallpapers) {wallpaper.sh} as 'command on click'.
wallpaper.sh, located at /usr/local/bin. Besides a BUNCH of them at /usr/localization/*(etcetera)
So I cannot change wallpaper, the GUI way. I need to restore that functionality. Please ?!
EDIT. side note
I remember this problem started after restoring the keyboard layout, changing it from 'es,en' to just 'us'; liveCD detected correct layout, after install the layout was not the correct one, it was spanish because I told the installer to change locales to spanish, when I didn't know/realize the input and the keys dont need to coincide. So after install it way Keyboard = en_US, but input = spanish; so I changed both to be the same. For this I had to edit /etc/default/keyboard + /etc/default/locale + /etc/profile. First time I did badly, changing es to 'en'; I couldn't login the next reset. Second time, with the liveCD and 'mount', I just corrected so that those three files are localized for the 'us' keyboard. (Pardon my newbieness)

Are you using antiX-M11 full or base?
After you made your changes, do you still get the original fluxbox menu in English?

Hello:
Thank you for reply!
I see I didnt give enough details.
I'm using M11 - full; the installer asked me for one option.
And, yes, the menu is now in English.
I just wanted to change input language and character codes (keyboard is en_US in its entirety), but want spanish as display.
(For time being, I'm modifying some menus and other config files, for the sake of translating to my home language. Learning from the help guides, but I'm still not there yet (ability-wise))

I'm now remounting /var. Just telling this in case anybody tells me it does affect the troubleshoot.
(Maybe it/I misconfigured the mount points with my previous misteps; I remember having told the installer to mount /var in a '/var', previously reserved partition)
Cannot tell the same for /boot partition. I'm in doubt if mounting /home, /var to other partitions is the same as with /boot.

SUCCESS !!
I move /var to another partition. Wonder if I can follow same instructions to move /boot to its own partition (or if there are special ones for it).
I'm still waiting for this topic issue to be resolved.

... Ended up disabling Wallpaper.sh through ~/.fluxbox/menu
I suppose this to be a fluxbox issue/bug, and not antix's.
I manually changed wallpaper by modifying a line in ~/.fluxbox/startup
And I declare this topic as SOLVED.
Thanks everybody !!
