I have my PC's hardware clock set to local time because I multi-boot various OS's, including Windows. I've been trying out antiX-12. I select my timezone in the boot options and, once booted, antiX displays the correct local time. However, when I shut down, I discover that the PC's hardware clock has been advanced by 7 hours, i.e., changed to UTC. Is there a boot option I can use to tell antiX my hardware clock is running on local time and not to change it?

You will have to change etc/adjtime from UTC to LOCAL and probably etc/default/rdS UTC to LOCAL or no.

I guess the answer is that there isn't a boot option to tell it not to touch the hardware clock. TinyCore Linux has a"noutc" option. I tried that here, but it wasn't recognized. I tried using a boot option of"tz=UTC" and that didn't help either. It appears that the only way to get antiX to stop changing the hardware clock would be to unpack the .iso, modify the files you mentioned, and rebuild the .iso.

I didn't realise you meant when running live. There isn't a cheat for this, maybe there should be. I'll see what we can do for next release.
