Hello, all,

So far I am liking what I see in Antix, thanks for a great thing. Since it is so light weight, I want to covert it to a server but still use my blessed graphical tools. I notice that some things don't run from the main console, which is not such a big problem because I will be running it headless, but I can't run a lot of tools in a vnc session. I use the vnc which comes when you use apt-get, but all I get is a replica of what I see on the head. Worst of all, I can't run firefox/iceweasel (By the way, which is it?) Does anyone have any hints on how to get firefox in vnc running?

The error, BTW, is unsupported request to cairo.

Thanks in advance

Can't help you as I don't know about vnc.

Dieselbenz used antiX as a server for a while, hopefully he can post his experience.

antiX uses iceweasel, not firefox.

What graphical tools are you speaking of? If your running a headless server you won't need most of them. I would suggest you have a look at webmin. It will allow to to configure and control a server remotely and locally. AntiX would be perfect for this.
