I have eagerly waited for the final. are these the final version of 8.5?

I mean as a newbie I get confused about the RC3 and Beta 4 threads. Are they runners up or are they after the final?

I have an HP/Compaq SR6522SC AMD 2 so maybe me should use 686?
My neighbor would love to havea Swedish version but like MHHP me want to retain english in the menu but have setxkbmap se for the keyb.

thanks for the explanation how to add that in the boot up. Have to test to mimic that one.

So my embarrassing question is. Is the iso file antiX-M8.5-686.iso the official final version?

Yes it works using from iso cheat code and works good.
Have to look up an older text about how to get firewall going.

newbody, even though the menus are in English (the antiX stuff isn't translated to Swedish), if you used the cheat code to boot and install it then the deafult system language will be Swedish, just saying (you may have noted from the apps already).

And for the firewall: open the Control Center (tools icon on the taskbar), then Network tab, then click on Manage Firewall. Click on Configure FireHOL and change START_FIREHOL=NO to START_FIREHOL=YES
