Thanks to everyone
thanks for posting in screenshots.
As antiX16.1 recent release point enhances interest in antiX it is favorable to have screenshots available. (especially as we await the image placeholders to return images during this server upgrade. hopefully in February.) minimal is always good. how do you like that lilvterm/ lilyterminal?

Hello. My personal preference is for lilyterm simply because of the font handling. Also, lilyterm is lightweight but functional.ile wrote:how do you like that lilvterm/ lilyterminal?

lenovo s21e, running fluxbox-spacefm, along with compton for a little transparency action. Note the real transparency effects in roxterm (you can see conky behind it).
note: jwm & icewm don't seem to like compton very much.
royal-blue-antix fluxbox theme and MediterreanDark for the gtk theme.

d_o, have you used the"kupfer" runner?

If so, I wonder what feature(s) you find lacking, compared to the"synapse" runner?

I've never even heard of it until you mentioned it. I'll check it out. I'm a pretty basic synapse user though, mostly just apps and files.
just using it for a couple of minutes I like the way it handles folders.

Hello. Sorry for stupid question, but what exactly problems you have with compton and jwm&icewm? And how about fluxbox? Are compton run fine with fluxbox?dolphin_oracle wrote: note: jwm & icewm don't seem to like compton very much.

as far as I can tell, icewm and jwm just don't supply whatever compton needs to do its thing. I've only been playing with transparency and shadows, and neither seem to work in jwm and icewm with compton.
so far compton runs ok with fluxbox. I had to add exceptions for roxterm and tilda (a drop down terminal) but its working ok.ObamaCyborg_1975 wrote:Hello.
