antiX-14-full will fit on a cd with libreoffice. This is not up for discussion.
Some of you may be using MX-14 or at least have tried it. Many improvements made in MX-14 will filter into antiX-14 (and some to antiX-13.3-Stable).
iceweasel v qupzilla
metainstaller v mx-packageinstaller
antiX apps such as antiX-system/user v mx-user

Well, one thing I have noticed is hinky things going on between 3.13+ kernels and nouveau drivers on Older Nvidia embedded video chips.
I'll run inxi and get a scrambled screen and a computer lockup. I guess it would be nice to mention to use safe graphics option in F keys on boot of live session. before a install if you have legacy nvidia graphics.
Or maybe I am being just like rc, and am being weird.

If you haven't done it yet, I would ditch gogglesmm.
Ether leave it out, or find something better.

How about a super light 'web' version, containing just Firefox, for those who either just want a 'live' web browsing pendrive or like to install their own choice of apps, (sort of like a 'base' replacement).

Thanks, will take a look at that one.
Edit: Basically, I like what I see, but Iceape takes up too much screen area on my netbook.
(Think it would be better with Iceweasel/Firefox.)
Edit2: Even with all the toolbars turned off. Perhaps it is the JWM configuration that I need to look at.
(I will take my further thoughts over to the thread pertaining to this release.)

I have seen the scrambled screen as well, I was going to try a bios update. I guess though that I should maybe downgrade the kernel on the box by the sounds of it. You seem to be having the same problem as me as well rocky. This to is on a box with on board nvidia chip.rokytnji wrote:Well, one thing I have noticed is hinky things going on between 3.13+ kernels and nouveau drivers on Older Nvidia embedded video chips.

I guess I aint being weird then. __{{emoticon}}__
My only other suggestion after testing. Use a older kernel for i386 download, Full, Base, Core. Like I pm'd Anti.
Use the 3.14 on 64bit downoads, Full, Base, and Core.
Or use both. Whatever is easier. My test results on live boot should not be the standard though. I would like to hear from some weaker laptops than mine on the test iso.
I tried and showed which kernels would fly on my IBM A22M.

I would like dmenu enabled on"all" wm's, if it is not too much work to get it working with everything else.
Mostly because it is...dmenu, and it is already in there for wmii, and if you don't use it, it does not get in your way.
