The review is extensive and is generally very favorable. There are a number of suggestions for improvements.

I agree with the review. Marking already installed metapackages would be really useful. IIRC I mentionned that last year. Also, adding installed DE's automatically to the slim login menu would improve user experience. And it is great.

Reading this review, I don't think the author spent much time with the file managers. Especially as he takes pcmanfm over spacefm. But the default configuration of spacefm in antix probably does need tweaked, as it doesn't show internal non-removable drives by default. tweaking the udevil.conf ahead of time to allow mounting of network file systems would be a boon as well.
metapackage installer has always bugged me for the same reasons the author gave.
I sure am glad he liked it, and it reigns at the top of the memory usage chart!

The author had 60 distro review this year (so far), so he/she/(it? they?) had a limited time for testing. I guess it is the best way to write about first impressions, wich seems to be the author's target.

yeah, that's fair I guess. spacefm did take a bit of tweaking to get it the way I wanted it. Perhaps we can look at default spacefm configurations for the next release.

yep, start a thread with spacefm tweaks, or things you want. I am sure it is a fine fm, but I absolutely hate it.
It must be better to have the ideas and work done before starting on a new version?
