hi, me again, first, let me say anti-x is fast becoming my favorite linux. that being said, ever since the beta1 version of 8.5, the guest additions for virtualbox no longer work quite correctly. In 8.2 and the first test of 9.5 they were fine once you commented out all the modes in x11.conf. I could switch to full screen etc. and, when you moved the cursor out of the anti-x window when not in fullscreen, it would switch to the host cursor and the one in anti-x would disappear. You can still move it out of the window, it just doesn't go away on anti-x's screen. I know I've addressed this some when beta1 came out, but I haven't found the solution and hope someone here might know how to make the guest additions work correctly. I do know they still work in simplyMepis 8.5 beta but I don't know how closely you are related.

turned out VirtalBox 3.1.2 guest additions trashed both the Anti-X and Mepis xorg.conf file. I just downloaded the 3.0.12 guest additions and every thing worked fine again. using anti-x beta 3 now.

I just installed Antix 8.5rc2 in Virtualbox 3.0.12, and the VBox Guest Additions install but don't work. I did the $ ps auxww | grep VB, and then did

$ VBoxClient --clipboard
$ VBoxClient --autoresize
$ VBoxClient --seamless

Then, $ ps auxww | grep VB showed all the modules installed, then rebooted, but still none of the GAs are working. I've also commented all the modes lines in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
