Hello:
This started a few days ago and I think due to the fact that I clicked on enable wicd on your task bar in the control settings menu. Now, there is a blank open window in either fluxbox or ice wm and if I try to kill it, the wicd manager appears on the center of the screen. This window is also eating up far more cpu time than before.
Any suggestion on how to unclick the"enable wicd tray icon" option in control manager or any other ways to fix this problem?
thanks.
Pedro

In the control centre, ->Edit fluxbox settings ->Startup
and remove any reference to wicd ie
wicd-client &
Do the same in the icewm settings->startup.
Have you updated wicd lately? Or done an apt-get upgrade?
If you have you may need to follow the steps in this thread.
