Hello, I had install antix 8.5 i486 on an old laptop toshiba satellite 2140cds and all work fine, but not modem.
I want to use it some times but it do not detected by gnome ppp Need drivers. It is a lucent angere 56k win modem.
Can anyone help me ?

Can you post contents of
From Rox Terminal so Members can see what gear including angere 56K win modem (if driver is there. inxi -F will show it) that you are using. I don't use dialup. So I may not be of much help.

Yes, it's compiled for i386 so anything later (i486, i586, i686, amd64*) can use it.
* amd64 I mean the CPUs, because if it's a 64-bit kernel then I don't know.
