Midori seems to be not available in 'stable' repository, only in 'testing' repository of Debian.
You know how to open Synaptic software installer? (If not press Alt+F2 and enter gksu synaptic. Or explore where it is in the menu. You can also find it in Control Centre.)
In Synaptic got to Settings -> Repositories. Ther select the checkbox for 'testing' with the address

url was:"http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/"
linktext was:"http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/"

(not

).
Then you should reload in Synaptic and you can search midori.
After installing midori you should better disable the 'testing' repository by uticking the box from before.
A viable alternative for midori is palemoon, which you can install if you enable MX-15 repos, which would conflict less with antiX repos.

If you are running Stable, it's in Jessie Backports

and we have it in the MX repos that you can enable in antiX to get it.

Enabling a repo should not mess up wifi or hardline connection.
I never had a relationship with the Midori browser. I'd rather use qupzilla or netsurf myself.
Weird also that nothing happens in a terminal after typing
in roxterm or urxvt.
Not sure what yoiu are connecting with. Ceni or wicd? I'd double check with
and compare what it spits out as network names (wlan0 or eth1?) against wicd preferences or ceni names.

How did you go with Midori install, Calixtus06? Did you get it running, or"almost" running (as in subject)?
