Hi guys, its me again

Well, after my GF became a new Notebook, i take my old one (Siemens E-6575) and install a New Version from AntiX. Cause of that i want to Format the HDD, i decide to look for a New version and i found the M11. Downloading, install from my pc (The notebook don't have a CD-Rom Drive). After i take the HDD on the Notebook i started, change the Boot option, everything fine, but i can't login myself. After i type my username and Password its show the Message"Failed to execute Login Command". I tried to login on IceWM, Fluxbox and Rox-Fluxbox, nothing work.

Any solution?

Did you save /home? If so, try copying the .xinitrc file from /etc/skel/ to your home user directory.

Also if /home is on a separate partition, make sure /etc/fstab is seeing it correctly.

/home is a external Partition its true...

How can i verify if /etc/fstab is seeing correctly?

I allready thinkin that the /home partition is the problem, but how can i fix it?

I am not a Pro on Linux, and forgot some setting possibility, forget how i can start in Terminal modus too....
Maybe connect the HDD on my pc and on windows verify the settings?

I don't tried to boot AntiX on my PC after installation, i disconnected it and put it in my Notebook and try to start immediatly

Edit: Ok i think i know the Problem now....

On the Installation, the Partition called"sdf 1, sdf 2, sdf 3".

After the installation and on booting on the Notebook, i need to change the Boot line from"sdf" to"sda". So now the System try to find the sdf 3, but its not more active on the Notebook, and that why it can't connect on the /Home partition. Well, but i don't know how i can change it, on the Grub but where and how?

Boot antiX using the init 3 option (it should be in the menu), then login as root and then type blkid.

That should give you a list of your partitions, their uuid and device names/numbers. I'm guessing your /home will be on sda3.

Next you will need to edit /etc/fstab so the /home partiton is labelled correctly as shown by blkid. You can do this using mc or nano or booting from the live cd and repairing the /etc/fstab of your installed partition (sda1)

if i try to boot on this, i become the Error message"Error 23: Error while parsing number"

I allready change the Root, /dev/sda,1 or sda1, both don't work....

I thought you could boot, but couldn't login?

yes, i can boot.

On Init 3, i become this Error Message

Ok boot as normal, then at the login screnn, hit Cltl Alt F1 then login as root and do the blkid thing mentioned earlier.

I am in the /etc/fstab Data on Nano, after i opened the File from MC

I save the Data with Ctrl and O, now try to reboot
