I have a Dell dimension 2400 pc with Win XP and antix. Everything works fine but I can't set up my Kodak esp 3.2 printer. I previously set it up when I had Linux mint with no problem using driver for the c310 printer. I tried to upload a screenshot of the problem, but have no luck.
The local host finds the printer when I enter the address. When I hit apply the"cups server error" message comes up. What to try next?

Assuming it is antiX-13.2-Stable, you have hit a known bug which is in the antiX installation media. The bug report is here:

The fix is usually to add yourself to the group lpadmin as described in the Debian wiki:
========= SCRAPER REMOVED AN EMBEDDED LINK HERE ===========
url was:"http://wiki.debian.org/SystemPrinting"
linktext was:"http://wiki.debian.org/SystemPrinting"

You have not mentioned which version of antiX you are using.deweylovem wrote:When I hit apply the"cups server error" message comes up. What to try next?

I was able to install the printer by using terminal and typing"sudo system-config-printer". No cups server error showed up and my printer printed a page successfully.
