I am actually on the test anti-x 8.5 but I don't think the questions are specific to this. First, in 8.2 and 8.5 I get error messages when I upgrade through synaptic saying adduser: user 'demo' doesn't exist. how to I get rid of those messages?
second question, I watch a fair amount of video online and have noticed in some Linux distros I cannot turn off hardware acceleration in adobe's flash setting manager. it seems important seeing it pegs my CPU, I am running anti-x in Virtualbox on a Mac host.
thanks ahead of time

if you right click on a flash video a pop-up will appear, you may or may not be able to uncheck it, depending on what you are running at the time. it helps to turn it off in virtual machines, when possible.secipolla wrote:I didn't even know flash had that feature.
