Is the latest version of antiX 64-bit or is it strictly 32-bit? I was informed from another site that it was 64-bit yet I cannot get a 64-bit app to work. The app informs me that it will run only on 64-bit hardware, yet the mahcine is a dual Opteron and other 64-bit distros work fine.

antiX is 32-bit. It will run on 64-bit hardware but as 32-bit. I run antix on a AMD Turion64.

For day to day use, there is no real advantage to 64-bit and a lot of everyday apps are not available in 64-bit versions.
