Again for 64 bit use.
Should be in the repo.
In a day or two, I'll upload a 32 bit version to test.

My camera is being picked up in this kernel where on previous ones it was not. I posted about it before. I'll give it a try on the 64bit laptop install next.
92MB idle on fluxbox after slim login with my conky running. Let me know if you want the /var/log/kern.log in zip upload for anything.

Now on the laptop.
Kinda off topic but in case you did not catch it in chat box. In both of y installs. Opening rox as root from run and trying to open a document file to edit
does not open leafpad (default run action in rox). I get around that using spacefm instead as root user.
Leafpad opened as root from run gives no taskbar to open a file with. That is it for now.
Edit: Forgot to mention I have to use app killer to close leafpad also when opening with run or gksu. Update. Using su, or sux to open rox or leafpad makes these symptoms go away.

rox and leafpad works fine as root in the 32 bit version
Ok, so it doesn't want to boot on my machine, on antix13, this was a 12.5 install, which looks very similar, lol.
Thanks for pointing that out, roky!

This kernel boots OK but the video resolution on my laptop isn't correct. I have a couple inches of blank screen on each side. Back to the excellent 3.8.2 kernel for me.

As stated in chatbox. USB automount is OK in antiX-base-amd64 Edelweißpiraten 07 November 2012 on my Desktop PC as user with the newer 3.8.3 kernel.
On my Laptop with antiX-13-beta1_x64-base Ahmad Sami 7 February 2013. I have to use antixcc>disks>mount connected devices. It does not matter which kernel is used either. This has been normal since initial install.

With kernel 3.8.2 and 64 bit Ahmad Sami, USB's do not automount in Rox. I have to use antixcc to mount.
But, while using spaceFM, the USB's automount and unmount just fine.

This is a momentous occasion and after I post. I am cracking open a beer.
On this Emachine Desktop. I could never get past booting 2.6.38 kernel. I tried AntiX 12 base iso cd and it would not even boot up past waiting for /dev to populate. I had ran smxi and tried every aptosid, liqourix, debian kernel available I could find. I had pretty much given up on installing a new kernel thinking this hardware just could not handle the strain. So imagine my surprise,
