Another new kernel available via the antiX repos,

linux-image-3.2.9-antix.1-486-smp and linux-headers-3.2.9-antix.1-486-smp

Bleeding edge, even beats aptosid/siduction __{{emoticon}}__

Hi,
anti, how about you give us some hints on the kernel 'recipe'.
Like what could we find out to be different from Debian's, aptosid's etc.

Firstly, antiX kernel is 486 so k5/k6 and PI will boot, unlike aptosid, siduction etc.
It also has more more built in kernel options for live use. (rather than modules).

It is a mixture of Debian, siduction and aptosid kernels in terms of patches. I didn't use all of their patches. So I guess, antiX kernel is more 'vanilla'

I'll upload the patches file to mepisimo.

Edit: The 'beats aptosid/siduction' reference is only connected with the time made available, not quality of the kernels.

Here is fine, roky. The patch file is just to look at. No need to do anything with it.
